MK10 RACEHORSE SIMULATOR
The new MK10 simulator is the latest evolution of the Racewood racing simulators.
It retains the saddle, bit, rein, lean and whipping sensors of its predecessor the MK9. It also has new pressure sensitive neck sensors that allow detailed analysis of where, and how much pressure jockeys exert when 'pushing out' on the simulator. This is combined with new positional sensors which cross reference the data from the neck in relation to the stride pattern of the horse. This allows instructors and coaches to work on the jockey’s synchronisation with the stride movements of the simulator. The MK10 is also compatible with ant+ heart sensors and comes with a heart rate wrist strap. This introduces heart rate data and cardiovascular fitness into training programs. Racing around a virtual racetrack will be introduced via a future software update. Prices from £47,500 + VAT (excludes delivery) Buy now

INstruction screenThe software includes instruction screen
and auto-training modes. Instruction mode allows the instructor full control of the simulator while showing input from the sensors on the screen. The speed of the simulator can be set using either a handheld controller or by pressure on the neck sensor. |
Auto trainingThe auto-training mode puts jockeys
through a set routine of holding the bit, leaning, whipping and pushing for the finish line. Data from all the sensors and the heart rate monitor is recorded throughout sections of the routine. |
FEEDBACKThe rider is then presented with detailed
feedback on their accuracy, fitness and balance in the different sections of the routine with an overall score awarded. |
