Q. What is the power requirement of the Simulator?
A. They all run on any voltage from 200 to 240 and either 50 or 60 Hz. They come with a normal British plug attached for domestic use.
Q. What is the size of the Simulator?
A. All general riding Simulator will be 15 hands. The racehorse only measures 1M as it has no legs.
Q. What needs to be done to the Simulator to keep it running?
A. We offer an annual service to keep your Simulator in peak condition. We can give you the service schedule if you wish to do it yourselves.
Q. How long do they last?
A. All our simulators are still running and we have been making them since 1990.

Q. Do the Simulators come assembled?
A. Yes all except the Polo Simulators with pits
Q. Do you have to secure them to the floor?
A. Yes the Simulator must be fixed for safety. We do offer a cross bar that can be fitted to the front framework if you wish to take it out to an event. We also manufacture a special trolley jack that clamps to the front allowing you to move the horse without lifting.
Q. Where does the plug cable come out of the Simulator?
A. It comes out position between the front legs and is 5M in length.
Q. What is the warranty on the Simulator?
A. All Simulators have a 1-year on site warranty. We can offer a 5-year extended warranty for the UK and Ireland.
Q. What tack is on the Simulator?
A. All Simulators come with bridle, reins and girth straps positioned for either dressage or GP saddle. You will only need the saddle.
Q. What are Racewood’s terms of business?
A. Deposit with order and Balance upon completion and before shipping.
Q. What is the difference between the Riding Simulator and the Ridemaster Pro 1 horse?
A. The Ridemaster Pro has been built to be interactive to a 40 inch screen. You can ride inside and outside the arena.
Q. What types of interactive horses do you have?
A. We have only the Ridemaster Pro that is interactive. It is for arena riding, but we are working on interactive Racehorses and a Show Jumping Simulator for the end of 2007.
Q. What controls are there on the horses?
A. The horses can be controlled by the rider and also the instructor. They normally have buttons on the left hand side for the instructor.
Q. Are the horses safe?
A. The horse Simulators are safer than a real horse. Their action is very rhythmical and never has a mind of it’s own.
Q. What colour can you have?
A. They are always black but we can do a bay colour if you request.
Q. What is the room height need to run them?
A. A Riding Simulator can run in a normal 8’ room (2.5M) but taller is better. The Racehorse is very low and fits any room. The Polo Simulator needs a 13M height to get a full swing
Q. Can the Simulator be modified?
A. Yes, as we hand make them to order you can request modifications at the time of order.
