The Honourable Artillery Company is a regiment of 400 men and women who voluntarily give up time from their civilian lives to train as soldiers in the Army’s only Surveillance and Target Acquisition patrol regiment. Soldiers from the HAC frequently deploy on operations to Afghanistan in support of the Regular Army. The Regiment also has a unique ceremonial role providing Guards of Honour at the Guildhall and Gun Salutes at the Tower of London.

Arrow Equestrian in Herefordshire is a riding school that offers classical riding and dressage lessons. They also have a bespoke Racewood Simulator that goes from a slow canter to a full gallop. They use the simulator to teach finesse, build confidence, suppleness and balance. We really enjoyed watching the video of the simulator on their website!

In case you didn’t see it – there was an interesting article in the Daily Mirror during the Cheltenham festival this year. Race-rider Niall Hannity talks about his weight management in the early days of his career. Niall is now working with sports scientiest George Wilson at Liverpool’s John Moores, who is looking to ‘revolutionise jockeys diet and weight’.

Racewood has donated one of our RS Simulators for the duration of the research project – if you were able to pick up the hard copy of the article you would have seen Niall on the simulator!
